My husband recently asked me, for his co-worker, if we can make Lavender Lemonade to help calm moods. “Yes!” I declared.
You see, if an essential oil from doTERRA shows Supplement Facts on the side of the bottle, then that oil is safe to use internally.
There are some oil, such as Eucalyptus and Cedarwood, that we don’t take internally because we don’t eat or drink those trees. Those bottles will not show the Supplement Facts. Instead they say “For aromatic or topical use”.
So, yes! my friends, you can safely add a drop of doTERRA Lavender essential oil to your glass of lemonade.
While your at it, consider a drop of Lime on your nachos, a drop of Coriander with your enchilada sauce, a toothpick stir of Oregano in your chili, some Thyme in a batch of roasted potatoes, a touch of Basil in your pesto and a drop of Wild Orange to flavor your water.
Not only will you enjoy more flavor in your food, but you will enjoy health benefits as well. See the quick guide on the right for the benefits that you and your family may enjoy by using doTERRA essential oils internally.
